Is consolidation — or coordination — key to Bay Area transit's future?
State Sen. Aisha Wahab introduced Senate Bill 926 during a legislative session last week. The bill calls on the California State Transportation Agency to develop a plan that would merge the Bay Area’s 27 public transit operators, such as BART and Caltrain, in an attempt to streamline public transit.
