2025 was a big year for District 10 and we worked hard for you.
Together, we fought hard, delivered results, and secured historic investments that strengthen our communities and protect working families.
🏠 $1.4 Billion Invested in Housing & Homelessness Solutions
We delivered major statewide and local housing investments, including:
- $300M – Dream for All Program
Helping first-time, first-generation homebuyers achieve homeownership - $120M – Multi-Family Housing Program
Funding deeply affordable housing statewide - $500M – Low-Income Housing Tax Credits
Supporting affordable housing projects across California - $500M – Homeless Housing, Assistance & Prevention (HHAP)
Expanding local homelessness programs with accountability
💵 Major Local & Regional Investments Secured
We also brought critical funding directly home:
- $10M – World Cup Security (Bay Area & LA Region)
- $10M – Children’s Holistic Immigration Representation Project
- $750M – Loan for Specified Bay Area Transit Districts
- $5.4M – Jewish Community Center of the East Bay (security & infrastructure)
- $1M – Newark Ash Street Park Facilities
- $1M – Santa Clara County land acquisition for a 30-unit family shelter
- $1.8M – Santa Clara overnight care locations
- $1.75M – Regional Public Safety Communications (CRIS)

📜 Key 2025 Legislative Wins
We passed strong, people-centered laws across critical areas:
Health
- SB 40 & SB 41 – Capped insulin at $35/month & cracked down on pharmacy benefit manager abuses
Housing
- SB 262, SB 610, SB 625, SB 681 / AB 130 – Expanded displacement protections, sped up rebuilding after disasters, limited excessive HOA fees (including ADUs), increased renter tax credits, preserved pro-housing protections, prioritized affordable housing on surplus school land, cut red tape for coastal affordable housing, and improved overcrowding measurements
Public Safety
- SB 701, SB 385, SB 627 – Partnered with law enforcement and banned signal-jamming devices, strengthened peace-officer training flexibility, and required clear law-enforcement identification
Women & Survivors
- SB 257, SB 258, SB 733 – Expanded health-insurance access during pregnancy, protected disabled survivors of spousal rape, and upheld survivors’ rights over forensic evidence testing
Workforce & Energy
- SB 254 – Created state tools to fund energy infrastructure and save ratepayers money

- 1,630 total number of cases opened for constituents
- 740 total number of meetings with constituents
- 420 small business owners supported
- 40 community events hosted by the team
A snapshot of the year in events:
- 410 Events attended
- 100+ Backpacks given away to students in the district
- 1000+ Turkeys given away at our annual turkey drives
- 2200+ Meals and meal kits provided
- 550+ Boxes of produce given away
