Wieckowski to co-host Halloween Safety Resource Fair

October 5, 2018

SANTA CLARA – State Senator Bob Wieckowski (D-Fremont) will co-host a Halloween Safety Resource Fair with Assembly member Kansen Chu (D-San Jose), Supervisor Ken Yeager and the Santa Clara Police Department to provide brochures, safety tips and Halloween treats to children and parents at a Halloween Safety Resource Fair this Wednesday in the Central Park Library Redwood Room.

“Halloween should be a fun time for children to dress up in their favorite costumes and go trick or treating with their friends and family,” Wieckowski said.  “Following simple safety tips, such as walking with a group, being aware of traffic, and wearing reflective tape or light colors, can ensure everyone gets home safely.”

Wieckowski and members of his district staff will be on hand to answer any questions.  The event is free and open to the public.  Please RSVP by calling 794-3900 or by emailing senator.wieckowski@senate.ca.gov.
